Wandered in here for dinner with two friends and ended up loving this place! We started with a round of Prosecco. The complimentary bread was warm and fresh. Nicki recommended the chicken Milanese which was amazing. Not too heavy and the perfect amount of food. I will definitely be back! The atmosphere is perfect for dinner with friends.

First time at Redwood Room. The ambience is wonderful and our server, Nikki, was amazing! She was friendly, engaging and funny. The food was also amazing. We had the Swedish meatballs and the shrimp risotto. The bread basket was also delicious as was the bruschetta. We would recommend this place and we will be coming back. It’s a small place so we advise getting there at 5 when they open. Enjoy!

What’s not to like about this place that has been here since the 70’s! Live music (jazz the night I visited) and some excellent food and drinks!! Highly recommend the Boursin Chicken and the Risotto fritters which are unbelievable! I came here for the atmosphere and music but the food blew my socks off.

I really like the atmosphere! The cocktails were excellent. We enjoyed the swordfish and the gavotte au poive. And our server, Nikki was perfect. A good acoustic/vocal duo was playing live. Very relaxing! This place ticks ALL the boxes. Looking forward to another great evening there next time we’re in town!

Stopped in for dinner with friends and wow, we had an incredible experience. The food was incredible and the service was so friendly. We tried the chicken Milanese and the Malaysian chicken curry - both of which were phenomenal. The creme brulee was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. The complimentary warm bread with house infused rosemary olive oil and freshly hand grated Parmesan was also top tier. Nikki was funny, friendly and very helpful! The live music complimented the atmosphere perfectly. 12/10 would go back.

I ordered the Malaysian Chicken and Vegetables Curry over white rice and it was outstanding. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. A fantastic evening. It had to be the best meal I've had in Rochester. The service was impeccable and I can't wait to go back and try another dish, although I'm tempted to reorder the same dish it was so good.

In the best possible way, this restaurant’s ambiance takes me back to a time before I was born. It is precisely the atmosphere other restaurants try to emulate. This place is the real deal. The staff is clearly passionate about the food they’re serving, and they should be — everything was wonderfully cooked and generously portioned. The menu offers a good selection without losing its identity. I knew we’d be okay when our server Nikki greeted with warm bread and good humor. We all left happy and planning the next thing to order. Perfect spot for date night or a casual night with friends!
